Day 6 Aug 25
Up and breakfast at our apartment. Then off to the Yoga studio for a session. The day was free but we opted to go to the GeoSea in Husavik. The weather was the worst for the GeoSea. But still amazing. Some pictures of
Akureyri.
This was followed by a 7 course meal with wine pairings! And the food was fabulous!

Truffle on a butter cookie
Seaweed with monkfish liver pate and fermented angelica
Halibut Cauliflower and lovage. The wine was a Pinot Blanc by Brant Brothers (German)
Mahogany Clam, Seaweed and Cabbage Dimon (with fish eggs) Wine was Pinot Gris from Kayla Wines
Lamb carpaccio and broccoli. The wine was called Flora also by Brant Brothers
Mountain Tea. This was to cleanse the palette.berries and toasted rice
Pork Cheek, Kale and Wild Mushrooms. The wine was Cantina Giardino Greco T'Ara'Ra
Pickled Green Strawberries with Juniper and Birch leaves in a tart wiht toasted marshmallows and Cherbil. The Wine was La Viallale Chiassaie
Honey Cake, Brunastada Cheese and Parsnip. The wine was Torrolino
